Welcome back to the theatre! The SNF Parkway is committed to the health, well-being, and safety of our audiences, communities, and staff amidst the ongoing impact of COVID-19. We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space for everyone to experience the love and enjoyment of film in the unique, immersive atmosphere that only a theatre like the Parkway can provide.
CERTIFIED COVID-19 SAFE by Experts at UMD
Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with a team of epidemiologists and infectious disease and prevention experts from the University of Maryland School of Medicine to review and approve our COVID-19 protocols, cleaning, sanitizing, and personal protective equipment, and air filtration systems to ensure we are implementing best in class safety measures within our theatre. During the early summer of 2021, the entire SNF Parkway building underwent a thorough deep cleaning and power wash to be shiny and spotless for the return of our audiences. You’ll think we built a brand new theatre just for you!

CONTACTLESS TICKETING
All screenings at the SNF Parkway will require advanced reserve seating via our user-friendly online ticketing platform. Each transaction will allow guests to choose up to 4 reserved seats for their selected screening. Guests will receive an email confirmation once seats have been selected and paid for. To check in for your screening upon arrival to the SNF Parkway, please show your emailed ticket to our staff via printed copy or mobile device. Staff will be available to help direct you to your reserved seats.
MASKS
All staff and guests are required to wear a facemask fully covering their nose and mouth at all times within all areas of the theatre, unless eating or drinking at your seat. Yes, this includes during your movie! Forgot your mask at home? Disposable masks will be provided on a first come, first served basis for any guests who arrive without appropriate coverage.
CONCESSIONS
Grab your popcorn! The SNF Parkway Concessions Stand will be open and operating for all in-person screenings. New plexiglass partitions have been placed at the Concessions Stand to protect our staff and guests, and any staff member handling food related items will be required to wear gloves. We ask that all guests wear a facemask fully covering their nose and mouth at all times in all areas of the building, unless eating or drinking at your seat.
STAFF
Friendly faces are ready to welcome you back to the movies! All staff of the SNF Parkway are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are required to wear a facemask fully covering their nose and mouth at all times in all areas of the theatre. Gloves will be worn by any and all staff members who are handling any food related items such as concessions, catering, or food preparation equipment. Staff will be required to sanitize their hands upon arrival to the theatre and throughout their shift as appropriate.
CLEANING & SANITIZING
We take sanitization seriously at the SNF Parkway. High-touch surfaces such as doorhandles, railings, and elevator buttons will be sanitized between each screening with a long-lasting anti-bacterial and anti-viral chemical that specifically targets coronavirus strains. Restrooms will also be thoroughly sanitized between screenings. All restrooms are equipped with touch-free soap and towel dispensers to limit the transition of germs and bacteria. In addition, touch-free hand sanitizer units are available to guests and staff throughout the building, including outside of each theatre and in common areas such as the lobby and lounge.
HVAC & AIR FILTRATION
The SNF Parkway is equipped with top-of-the-line heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, each with two stages of MERV 13 air filtration – a cut above the standard filtration found in most public HVAC units. These filters effectively filter out particle sizes smaller than one micron, including tiny particles of bacteria, viruses, and allergens that standard filtration will miss. These new MERV 13 filters have been installed according to guidelines by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) who recommend a minimum of MERV 13 filtration for indoor, public spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic.
